Lymphatic Drainage Massage in Castle Rock
Lymphatic drainage massage is about as different from deep tissue as massage gets. Instead of firm pressure into the muscle, it uses very light, slow, rhythmic strokes that gently stretch the skin in the direction your lymphatic system naturally flows. Many people find it one of the most calming kinds of massage, and clients often say they feel lighter and less puffy afterward.
Mark Komnick has more than 20 years of experience, and lymphatic drainage techniques are part of his training. He offers this work in your home throughout Castle Rock and nearby towns, or at his private studio at 949 Mountain View Dr.
What a Session Feels Like
Expect a quiet, unhurried session. Mark usually begins around the neck and collarbones, then moves through the arms, torso and legs with light, repetitive movements. The pressure is intentionally gentle, so it's nothing like a sports or deep tissue massage. He can do a full lymphatic session or blend lymphatic techniques into a relaxation massage with some focused work where you hold tension. Drink water before and after.
Who Might Enjoy It

A note on medical conditions: this is a relaxation-focused massage, not medical treatment. If you're recovering from surgery, have lymphedema, an active infection, a heart or kidney condition, or a history of blood clots, check with your doctor before booking. Medically prescribed lymphatic therapy should come from a provider your doctor recommends.

Lymphatic Drainage FAQ
How light is the pressure?
Very light. It's close to the weight of a hand resting on the skin, with a gentle stretch.
How often should I book?
Some clients book now and then for relaxation; others like a regular rhythm. A membership or 6-pack makes regular sessions cheaper.
Can I combine it with other massage?
Yes. Mark can blend lymphatic techniques into a customized session. Just tell him what you're after when you book.
Try something gentler. Book a lymphatic drainage massage or call/text (813) 454-6075.
